Another ghost sign

As mentioned in earlier blips Mr H has been struggling with his shoulder and for 3 weeks hasn’t been able to lie down at all. He has been ‘sleeping’ in his lounger in the awning while we have been away.

The tablets he was given by our GP before we came away have done nothing for him and he was out of strong pain killers so after another sleepless night, this morning he went to the minor injury unit at the local hospital. They were superb, have changed what he is on, and now for the first time in three weeks he looks not to be in pain and is hoping to actually go to bed tonight.

We did get a mooch around Kendal this afternoon but the only photo I took was this exposed ghost sign where a modern sign was broken.

Had a very good meal out at the Strickland Arms. A lovely end to the day.
