Loch Brandy
A couple more holiday ones added but here's today's.
Having moved on the week's activities by a day we didn't have such good weather for our hill walk and so didn't go as high. We often do the steep climb to the loch and then go up to the top of the crags for a high level circuit but today did a low level one round the lake shore.
As you can see from the pic there's quite a lot of rock and scree to negotiate and it isn't often done so the path is sketchy. It's a challenging, but fun, route and harder than I remember the Wastwater screes being as only the final section (on a clockwise circuit of about 2.5k ) is relatively straightforward. The pic was just near the end of the loop.
The 7.5k total walk took nearly 4 hours including lunch and snack stop.
Then home and not much to report other than catching up with photo editing and blip
