Office view 7 pm

Tedded two thirds of the hay fields before lunch, then cleaned the tedder and the tractor (a lot of hay in every possible place!) and had a quick coffee before fetching the contractor's rake. He started baling before I had finished raking, but here he's on the second to last field. After he finished, I still had the bales on the first fields to pile, so a long day, but Jussi came along (after his day at the summer job!) and a did most of those.

It was a hot day (+29°C), which helped dry the hay even though it wasn't that warm on previous days and the last fields had just about 56 hours between mowing and baling, a part of them with only two teddings. The yield wasn't quite as good as I expected, but quite good compared to previous years anyway, and we have a lot more to harvest.
