Diary of an Edinburgher

Goals galore

JR went off to the gym, and Archie and I decided to pop round to visit Uncle A as it was such a nice morning. We took the bus, then walked. Archie was excited to be back visiting - he hasn’t been for a while - so he ran along the corridor, barking, to Uncle A’s door. But once he’d said hello, and poked around a bit, he sighed and lay down to wait patiently.

But when we came out again, it was pouring! I rang JR and asked her to come and get us in the car, so we didn’t get wet.

Elizabeth collected him later for a day out with his friend Woody in the Hermitage. Here he is, just about to doze off after his bath at her place. (What a good dog walker she is!)

JR went into town to see if her new specs were ready, but no. I watched a bit of football, but then noticed a review about Jeremy Clarkson’s new show - about the trials of becoming a farmer. (Content warning: alcohol use, foul language, sexual content, violence). Hilarious, actually. And much more entertaining than no-goals football. (Actually, the Germany/Portugal game was exciting - lots of goals!)

Right. Bags are being packed as we speak. Archie is suspicious…
