After the rain

Thankfully the heavy rain of yesterday stopped some time during the night, and so today it was a dry day although plenty of puddles everywhere and the tree trunks were quite black with the water soaked into them. We chose a mud free place to walk today which was a good idea - everything is so green, as can be seen here.

Then back home again for late morning coffees, followed by a trip into the village as Gavin and I wanted to get a few things. We decided to have a quick lunch at a very good local cafe - superfood salad for me and a halloumi and avo wrap for Gavin.

I spent some time this afternoon loading the latest Nik Collection update, and there are some significant changes so it was worth the upgrade - discounted until 30 June if anyone is interested. I then watched a video on all the new features and how to use them.

Last night I made a vegetable curry for supper with roasted butternut, it was delicious - tonight it is a seafood risotto which is time consuming as I stand there stirring the rice for about half an hour as it does make it lovely and creamy.
