Birthday party

Steve, our neighbour down the road, turns sixty tomorrow. He had a garden party with a few friends and family. Lovely to see them and hang out by the fire.
I got him a honeysuckle plant for his present earlier in the day at the garden centre. He seemed pleased with it.
Caught up with Maggie, an artist neighbour, which was great.

Earlier in the afternoon, E and I went to see Cat and take her a few plants for her new garden. It's looking amazing. A lot of work has happened, basically stripping it right back and starting afresh. Most of the work is done and planting to go, her favourite part. E caught her up with her news which was nice.
