Water garden

It rained pretty much all day, such  a contrast to the hot, sunny, weather  of Wednesday.
This evening we attended a concert  by  The Sixteen Choir at Winchester Cathedral entitled the Call of  Rome, comprising choral music from the 15th -16th centuries. The singing  was divine, with the best known piece being Gregorio Allegri's Miserere. The Sixteen have just begun a choral pilgrimage during  this summer and autumn when they will be performing at many British cathedrals and churches.

When we left the cathedral ,the  rain had finally stopped and I took this  photo of the lovely little water garden, some fifty yards from the west end of the  cathedral.
