Halkida hospital

The whole day spent at Halkida hospital A& E, checking out G's swollen leg, after the nearer Aliveri health centre could do nothing. After dozens of tests of various kinds, the diagnosis was a severe infection of the whole lower leg, but fortunately one stage before blood poisoning.
So glad we didn't wait till Monday to check it out! G now on a cocktail of very strong antibiotics, and orders to rest.
This green wall was at the hospital cafe. Very impressed with the hospital.. it's brand new and on a hill outside Halkida town with ample free parking and spaces inside and out to sit and wait, plus a view down to the sea.
