Back to Evia

We returned to Evia today via the ferry which was lovely. Not at all crowded despite it being a long weekend, and sunny though windy and the sea quite rough.
Saffron behaved this time, but I’m now better prepared for any future possible spat as my protective gloves arrived by courier, incredibly fast. They look pretty effective - strong and long enough to reach my elbows.
In the evening our neighbours invited us for dinner... it was just warm enough to sit outside. They did charcoal grilled fresh tuna bought from the fish van that passes through the village every morning. Delicious!
