A Rare Find?

Last week, opposite us, the Fire Brigade chopped up a tree that had fallen under the weight of the snow. Taking a few pieces of it, I've discovered it may well be Grevillea longissima - a species listed as Rare but not Endangered. If that's not exciting, I don't know what is! I'll take it to the NPWS and see if they can identify it properly...and then be on the lookout for more in this area. Fun fun fun...
