On our way to Windy Gyle

We did a long circular walk from the top of the Coquet Valley to Windy Gyle (thankfully not living up to its name today) and then back down again.  Our path took us over the border into Scotland and back to England several times.  It was very quiet and we only saw two other walkers all day.  Afterwards we went to Harbottle for pizza in the yard of the Star Inn - a perfect pizza to end a lovely day
