Just a quickie outing today to Clausentum Fen where - despite having had one journal entry this year that included this lovely wildflower - I couldn't resist making it star of the day.  It used to be scarce (absent?) round here.  Now it's increasing year-on-year.  Pretty happy-making.

Oh, and I have to report that K, who's bedroom faces the garden, has heard crickets singing in our new 'wildflower meadow'.  They seem to enjoy warbling around midnight ;))
