Another broch

This is Loch Bharavat, between Galson and Dell on the Isle of Lewis. Like many of these small lochans this one has an island on it (artificial?) and the remains of a broch or dun (a circular fortified building). There is not much left of this one - you can just make out a few stones standing - but enough to remind us that a fort was here about a thousand years ago, even if we know almost nothing about who built them or why.
