The Grinch???!

Slept,ok, awake too early, but got off again, that was until some numpty decided to ring the house phone at 07.40am.....a recorded message telling me that my internet was going to be disconnected due to illegal activity, yeah right!!!! So. b*\!y annoying!!!!

Up and ready as I was off to my sis's mid morning, but not before I tackled a list of 8 calls I needed fo make! First was M&S Bank, 40 minutes on hold arggghhhhh!!!!! and after telling me it was sorted, tried ro use my card, same error message!!! I did get through most of the calls on my list, took almost an hour and a half though!!!

At my sis's a bit later than usual, but we got a move on, her arm is improving, she is managing to use it a little, the hospital is encouraging her to do that. We got most of our shopping, just couldnt get the 4 bags of compost we wanted, as there wasnt enough room left in the car lol!
I used sis's address book to write a relatives birthday card, her name & address was on the same page as mine, got a bit choked as hubs name had been crossed through :-(

The weather had started cloudy, but as we got back the sun broke through and it got really quite warm!!! A change of plan for tea, too warm for lamb, cabbage and roast potatoes, so we opted for roast ham muffins, pomme frites, and side salad ;-) Kobi is still on restricted exercise for his limping, doesnt seem so often now, sis has cut his food down too, as he isnt getting the same exercise. Dont look at the extra is youre squeamish or vegetarian lol, hes eating a raw turkey neck!!

Left for home around 7, car unloaded, shopping put away, baskets and tubs all watered, tried on 3 dresses delivered, dont like any of them, so they are all going back! An invitation has been put through my door from our newest neighbours, their wedding has been postponed twice, now going ahead in September.....my heart hurt when I read .....requests the pleasure of the company of "sue" :-(( made me have a little blub.....tonights blip is my "Sweet Dreams" apricot coloured rose, which sits outside the summerhouse doors, that dear D&E nextdoor bought in memory of hub, it is looking really pretty in its turquiose planter.

Watched the second half of France v Germany
not really watched what I would call a,"good game" yet!

It seems warm tonight, hope I can sleep......its time to head up the wooden hill me thinks!!
