'Snow cat?'. 'No.' cat.
So the snow that was falling yesterday laid fairly well and we have a lovely xmassy scene out of the window, despite it being March and almost Spring. I am often reminded of the opening of Robert Heinlein's novel 'The Door into Summer' which discusses the lead character's cat's obsession with trying every door and window in the house during bad weather, almost as if convinced that one of the doors will open onto Summer rather than rain. Leo does this often, sometimes you can see the disappointment in his eyes as another window or door opens onto the bleak cold and he slinks away is disgust that you have not managed to find him a better option.
There was an air of strangeness in the house this evening, brought on by lack of wine. Took me a while to get to grips with it but in the end it wasn't too bad.
Tomb Raider is definitely getting more enjoyable, I have started finding the hidden tombs and they pose more of a traditional Tomb Raider puzzle than the main story line does. Though I ended the evening getting repeatedly skewered like a shish kebab trying to navigate some particularly rapid rapids.
