Morning Ride

Back blip

It was more overcast today but still not cold. After a leisurely breakfast we decided to visit Watendlath Tarn. Just as I was about to photograph the bridge a group of cyclists decided to cross. In the end I felt they added interest.

We were impressed to find that the tearoom had oat milk and also dairy free cake so we both enjoyed a latte and Guy had the Victoria sponge. We then moved on to Dodd Wood car park where we got tickets for the Mirehouse garden and an easy walk to St Bega’s church. By the end of the day I had completed 13,500 steps which, for me, equates to 5.45 miles.
