Wherry

A chilled out day if you can chill out in this heat. Walked to the shop for a few groceries this morning, beer and wine watching the boats and wildlife. Our heron visited again plus lots of geese which persist on trying to settle on the lawn but which K keeps chasing off.
The boat is the wherry Hathor. In normal times it accommodates eight guests who take turns raising the sail, steering, etc. At the moment it can only do day trips and today there was so little wind they were virtually punting it along.
