Day 1 of the holiday. Steady drive with no hold ups until we got to the outskirts of Norwich. With covid procedures in place check in for the cottage wasn’t until 5pm so we had a couple of beers in the sun by the river. The swans were gathered in a little inlet.
The cottage is beautiful with amazing river frontage. Whilst we were having dinner tonight a heron came in the garden right up to the patio doors. I wonder if last week’s guests were feeding him? Anyway it’s great to be back in our happy place.
