Northumberland adventure

A snap decision took us up to Seahouses this morning and out on a boat trip around the Farne Islands where we were surrounded by seabirds. Then a wonderful walk along the beach to Bamburgh. There we found a cricket match in progress below the castle walls (see extra). We will stay in Bamburgh tonight and explore Cragside tomorrow. Today was special.
