The good, the bad and...
Yesterday I illustrated the grotty side of Leith, so here's a wee glimpse of the cultural side of Edinburgh's port. Today on my work-related meanders I found the ancient Norwegian Seaman's Mission - the oldest in the world outside of Norway, the remains of a private school built during WW1 and requisitioned for the war effort, and a fantastic mural highlighting the whaling trade that brought great riches to the area.
Apologies for my lack of comments this week - it's been a tad busy. Tomorrow I'm off to Glasgow for a golfing match with my brother, but I'll catch up on Friday.
