Ennerdale

We walked at Ennerdale today…

But we had completely forgotten that a friend of ours was running in a 23mile fell race at Ennerdale, with check points at all the highest mountains :- Great Bourne, Starling Dodd, Red Pike, High Stile, Haystacks, Green Gable, Kirk Fell, Pillar, Scott Fell, Haycock, Caw Fell, and Crag Fell!!!

In the extra you can see a Calder Valley runner ( the club that Tam and Jim belong to ) being applauded by Joss Naylor, one of the all time great fell runners ( who won the race 9 times! ).

It was such an honour to be able to chat with Joss for several minutes. He later presented the prizes…
