Ready for the Olympics

The service tree was very busy today. Since I work from home on Friday's I have a great view of it from the bedroom window. Several goldfinches in and out , a cardinal , catbirds and for most of the day - cedar waxwings. They really love berries . I saw a flock get rather buzzed on some fermenting choke cherries once. But the last few years the birds  don't let the berries on this tree even ripen all the way before they polish them off.

This bird was rather acrobatic in it's attempts to get as many berries off as it could.Suspicious looks in extras and a rather vibrant American goldfinch.
