RECTANGULAR EGGS

I was fascinated to spot these tiny insect eggs on a thistle leaf. They're attached in such a beautifully geometric pattern. I've no idea what they are, but I may try to find out.

I'm blipping late and and in haste as I've spent most of the day setting up my new (secondhand) iMac and there's still plenty more to do, but right now I need to go to bed!
