A walk round the island of Grimsay

A great day - a long walk around Grimsay , about 8 miles, and a long chat about our family. My grandfather William MacLean grew up on a croft here . So nice to walk and imagine the lives of our ancestors and feel grateful that without any one of them life for us now would be so very different.
I coincidentally met up with a special person today in Taigh Chearsbhagh - she helped me through many difficult times about 15 years ago.
I haven't seen her for a long time but we recognised each other even with our masks on.
