Neolithic

Out for a ride early on where I was just willing that sun to break through the cloud. And by the time I got back to the cottage mid-morning....glorious!

After some sun-worshipping in the garden it was off up to Ettrick Bay for some lunch and a swim in the sea, before heading to the south of the island for a walk to, Dunagoil Fort. Although we've been to Bute several times before, we've never done this walk, and I have to say that we were both pretty blown away by the place. Stunning. The views from the top of the outcrops were amazing, and the sea in the bay below looked so beautifully clear and blue that I thought "There is no way that I'm not going in there before we leave". So, after we'd finished up top,  the plunge was well and truly taken.
