Above the gold....

of the hillside covered in gorse, looking across to the plateau on another lovely sunny day. The only sounds were Curlew, Snipe, Cuckoo and Skylarks. Underfoot, there were Heartsease and Rockrose. Hares and Roe bucks bounded away at my approach. The lochans had Large Red and Common Blue damselflies and the first Four-spotted Chaser.
