And then there was none

All the visitors now departed, the peace and quiet is unbelievable. It is wonderful having people in the house again, seeing dogs and kids running around the garden. Yesterdays water fight was brilliant, everyone wet and laughing and happy. However, as they say, no rest for the wicked.
Set about cleaning and tidying. I did the kitchen and then moved to the garden. Toys organised in boxes and put away. Sand pit emptied and sand spread over the garden, patio swept to clear all the sand not in the sandpit (about 50/50) and the paddling pool emptied.
The pool had been in place for about 10 days. The water was horrible and smelly, emptying it was not a nice job. It had not done the lawn much good either. Hopefully it will recover before Wednesday when the next lot of visitors arrive.
