Misshapen.......

......but they still taste great.

I had a bit of a cupboard clear out yesterday and came across some flour a wee bit past the sell by date. I hate wasting any food and my confidence was repaid by one more than a bakers dozen.

Two more burst pipes in the street meant our garden got a good drenching but neighbours had their houses flooded. Disgraceful to see so much fresh drinking water being wasted in a water scarce country.

After a great walk with Shiv, we took ourselves off to Mozambik for some great prawns and fish.

Still no water when we got home but our tummies are full and the fire lit, and, we have electricity tonight! The positives of living in SA.
