on a clear day - a hot day - even though i’m still - feeling out of sorts - i ran a few errands - early stopping by one - of my favorite ponds - and before i was even - out of the car - there overhead was the - distinct sound of glorious - geese coming in for a landing - grabbing my camera quick - i caught them in various - stages of preparation

snap, snap and it was done - i watched them land - always a treat - and amazed such - huge birds can do it - with such grace - i admit to rather - adoring geese even - though they’re somewhat gangly - they do have a way of making it...
