Ardalanish

For our last day on Mull we decided to take our coffee down to the beach at Ardalanish. It was raining when we got up, but had cleared up by the time we headed to the beach, though was very windy. We found a sheltered spot, however, and drank our coffee while enjoying the view. Photo is of mum enjoying her coffee on the beach.

I think Ardalanish must be in one of my favourite beaches (extra of the beach), enhanced by the fact that there's a standing stone behind the beach (see extra. It's actually a pair; there's a fallen stone close to the still standing one). So of course we paid it a quick visit.

In the afternoon we went to have a cup of tea with some family friends and then it was packing and cleaning up. We managed out for a quick walk to the Knockan shore in the evening (see extra). Another favourite spot, one that I think is very lovely and there's usually with plenty of wildlife about too. A nice end to a lovely few days on Mull.
