Talla

So, down in the car with His Nibs to Peebles, to cycle the route that the Tour O'The Borders sportive uses - 74 miles of great riding, and virtually all of it new to me.

Photo was taken on the famous Wall Of Talla climb. I stopped halfway up on a relatively flat bit and pointed my phone in the direction of the reservoir that we'd just climbed up from. One of the steepest, most prolonged climbs I've ridden and it says something perhaps that I used my lowest gear for the first time ever on it - usually I have a gear or two to spare, you know, just in case. But not today.

Right, at home, refreshed, refuelled, getting ready for tomorrow and a few nights away.
