Frilly Poppies

One of the weird works days where virtually everyone has taken the day off because yesterday was a holiday.  So I didn't stress it, took things very easily and the day passed.

When I went for my walk this afternoon, I discovered that it was swelteringly hot out there today.  27°C in the shade = 80°F.  In the sunshine it was much hotter.   Much, much hotter.  This is the start of summer, it will only get warmer.
