The Field With The Poppies

It's not far from the house and we discovered it on a walk today.  A walk that was punctuated by rain.  Actual water falling from the sky in appreciable amounts.

It was glorious to be out in soft air and getting soaked after so much sunshine.

And good to be chatting with my pal after a couple of weeks.  We're planning on repeating the round next week but finishing off with a schnitzel in a newly re-opened restaurant - sitting outside, of course.

An exciting day at work as well.  People who know better than me decided to take some rights away which meant that certain files couldn't be updated by our central process.  Maybe not the best time to do that given that we are 2 weeks away from a major implementation and you can imagine the stamping feet if that in die Hose geht.

Don't worry about it, go back and enjoy the pretty Poppies.  The extra is one that was ready for its close-up.
