Next!

Just as well I did all the prep last night as T&Kt set off at 6am this morning and were here by lunchtime. I had a meeting in the afternoon so they took Heston for a walk in the park then we relaxed for a while, looking at castles on estate agents’ sites and day dreaming about finding a way to live in one ....with a wing or estate house each! Heston doing a lot of pacing around, not quite sure where he was and surprised to see he was up in the sky when he looked out of the windows! Later, walked down to town for a lovely french dinner....cassoulet, prawns, lobster, goats cheese, confit duck....everything delicious although we were so full!
We came out of the restaurant about 9.30pm and the town was bathed in sunlight...looking like warm afternoon sun (see extra) and we got a cab home and had one of these yummy chocolates in lieu of dessert. They couldn’t believe how light it still was by 10.45pm (love this time of year!), so made it easier to take Heston down all the stairs to the garden (more effort than just opening the french windows at home!) then we all headed to bed. Looking forward to the weekend.
