Pasqual Snow?

Will we have snow at Easter? Well, in 2012, after a really warm March, we did!

Pulsatilla halleri, a very hairy Pasque Flower, produced just one flower last year. This year there is a healthy cluster of buds .... bowing down under the snow :(

Caught in a very heavy snow shower as I cycled home, I recalled a similar experience back in January when this cold spell set in. I was quite the abominable snowman when I dismounted!
