The Castle

We have come to know this hotel as “our castle”.

It looks quite nice from this side..which is the side that looks out over the park.

Our rooms are in the servants quarters - top floor in the centre! Eldest granddaughter asked about the old lady in a blue dress that walked across the bedroom during the night....she is 6....you do wonder!

We had sole use of the lounge today..ground floor in the centre.

Trip to a park in Sandy for the children to run some energy off, then to Mrs madwill’s sister’s house for lunch and a lazy afternoon.

Back to the castle for a snack tea on the terrace outside the lounge. Beers chilling in the fridge tonight. We brought our own in again as they do not have restaurant and bar open at the moment.

Sitting with the windows open we can hear a cuckoo calling..  very pleasant.
