Time to go home

We have had a super time in our river view studio at the Old Post Office, so I’ve posted a picture of the little sitting area, with yesterday’s tree picture on the wall.

We stopped off at Corbridge which had been recommended to see by several people. A fascinating old town with narrow streets. It was busy and parking was impossible. We didn’t stay long before heading south on the A68 through interesting scenery. The road was quiet, compared to A1(M) when we joined it.

R & S arrived home about 10 minutes before us, and had unpacked the cool box to retrieve the cheese we bought in Hexham on Saturday. We had a coffee with them and checked out their garden before going home.

R has arranged this trip for us and with S has cooked superb evening meals. We have been spoiled rotten and had such good fun. We are so grateful to them for all the loving care and attention.
