Stormy weather

The storm is still with us, although there are some promising fine breaks amongst the squalls. Took my camera out to where the southern swell smashes onto the rocks, very dramatic with lots of spray.  The thunder and power of the waves on the rocks made me wonder if I should be here. Not wanting to be too close in case a rogue wave came in. With the spray and horizontal rain, it wasn't long before both myself and the camera were soaked.  But I stayed on waiting for the best wave but  frozen hands and saturated lower half drove me back to my car and home to dry out.
