Another wet one

Here we are another wet day, a red weather warning, rivers are rising, civil defense alerts all over Canterbury, and still more rain forecast. It hasn't actually stopped raining for two days. I'm lucky my house is on top of a hill, but I feel for those low down near streams and rivers.
I have used the day for reading and staying warm and dry and even made a cake. I would say we needed the rain, however I think it can stop now, we've reached saturation point,
