Wintry sunset over supermarket carpark

While some of the country is enjoying or enduring snow, others of us just get the odd flurries which then just blow away in the strong (and cold) northerly wind.

As we came out of the supermarket this evening the sky looked heavy but the sun was trying to break through. Not really quite as dramatic as this photo suggests but almost a struggle between the two over which would win.

I rejoice that even when life gets cold and hard, God's love comes through, and that if we look we can find signs of that love, signs of hope.
