Brimham Rocks

Day Two: Settle to Ripon. Beck's brother, Gareth, drove over to shepherd us through part of today's slightly trickier ride - but we didn't see him until well after we'd tackled the killer hill out of Settle, the worst ascent of the route, some of which (obviously) we walked up. We parted company after tea and cake at Burnsall and had a glorious afternoon through undulating countryside, ending up with an ice cream stop at Brimham Rocks and a run-in to Ripon through the grounds of Fountain's Abbey and the Studley Royal Deer Park. What's more, we went out for Italian in the evening and I demolished an unfeasibly large calzone - ah, the joys of cycling...!
