3 old codgers

It was a beautiful sunny AND WARM morning so I had a riverside walk through buttercup fields. I called on Katy for a cup of tea and a chat before returning. I was overdressed and hot. The temperature had risen 10 degrees.

I cooked for this evening. Dennis and his pal Dave had taken a hired van to do NC500 from Suffolk and they stopped off on their way home. They found the van small but had fun and enjoyed each others company. So much so they didn’t stop talking about it. It was good to hear how impressed they were with the way Scotland seemed so much more Covid aware and organised than home.

Chris and Ailie joined us for a meal. We had a lovely evening indoors and we could hug each other.

The Blip is the chaps having a drink before my friends arrived. It’s been a late night and there’s a lot of dishes going to wait till the morning.
