Future Tomatoes

The weathermen and -women were right, it's been a mild and dry day, really nice after the recent double dose of April.

I worked for a few hours until lunchtime - I'm still behind my schedule - but spent the afternoon in the garden, weeding, mulching, pruning and planting (which is always the nicest garden job).

Some of the tomato plants needed to go into big pots, they have grown so fast. Our garden is quite small, but the terrace and paved space behind the carport are big enough for lots of pots and planters, and nicely sheltered against the walls. Perfect for tomatoes.
