Home Again

After a leisurely breakfast with our friends we set off for home. It was raining really hard and that made driving something of a chore, but as we got nearer home the rain stopped and along the last stretch we started to see a little blue sky.  By the time we’d looked around the garden, rescued the mini-greenhouse from the forest edge (it’s been very windy!), and watered some plants, while draining others, the sky has turned completely blue.  Tomorrow’s forecast of blue skies suddenly seems realistic.
The surviving half of the plum tree that was broken by snow in the winter has now bloomed and is looking good enough to blip!
