Comiston Farmhouse

We didn't have an appointment, nor were we serious potential purchasers, but we were allowed to see the interior of Comiston Farmhouse as it was open for viewing today.

We had heard of plans for a community hub of some sort but today's experience seemed to imply that the house would be back on the market. Once a good solid house, it has suffered with being empty for so long and has some remedial work to be done after water ingress but there are many  rooms (extra 1 is the main reception room, with marble fireplace) in good condition. As there was no power supply switched on, our viewing was by phone torch, all internal photos taken with flash.

Outside there is a lot of land, extra 2 of the rear taken from partway along the garden and mature trees.

If only we could win the lottery we'd snap it up.
