Another day of gentle dog walks and pottering in the garden. The outdoor furniture finally emerged from its winter hibernation. The chairs and table have gone outside the kitchen bifold doors and we found a good spot for our wooden bench under the pergola where it catches the later afternoon sun overlooking the flower bed with geums. It’s also under the solar lights put up a few days ago, so late night drinks and snacks are also possible from this aspect! So satisfying to get the garden feeling more homely and summery again.
