Flower Friday - One of the Pea Flowers

This is one of the pea flower wildflowers of Western Australia. When I was a child we called them the bacon and egg flowers because the deep yellow was the colour of real egg yolks back then which are nothing like that nowadays!! :o). These would have been part of the wildflower planting extravaganza that happened some time ago at the local park. Most of the plants died off but this one has survived the burning summer against all odds!

I managed to catch a shot of the super moon going down this morning, seeing as how I missed it last night I’ve put it into extras ;o)

I may not get back here after dinner but I will catch up tomorrow night, happy weekend Yay!! :o)
