…wander by the river this evening while the Rooster rowed.

They were out in a four last night which is not usual for them it would generally be a quad. So they were sweeping with one oar each, in a quad they would have two oars each. This is my lay person Mammy description of these two differing rowing styles.

Grateful for a warm evening for a wee wander.
