Backblip


It has been over two years since we have visited daughter A and the first time we have seen the four grandchildren since 2019 apart from a few hours last August.  After watching I score two goals in a football match we had a walk along the local canal beside fields with cows but did wonder when someone last walked along that rickety wooden walkway.
Later we had a very muddy moorland walk near the rocky outcrops of the Roaches which we usually try to visit.. The views were extensive including the Jodrell Bank telescope and the distant hills in Wales on the horizon.   Despite the cold wet weather which curtailed our plans it had been an enjoyable short break especially having the opportunity to spend time with the family in their own environment.
