My Octopus Teacher

I spent the morning washing Ricardo's clothes and finishing editing photos from last week's shoot. It left me time to go walk and pray and sit in my 'thin' place. 
We took the kids straight from school to our favourite beach up north. A perfect day for it as it wasn't too hot. A brilliant couple of hours, not least because the family next to us found this octopus!! Our kids all got on well which was lovely, as did Danny and the other Dad. I was relieved they released this fascinating creature back into the sea. Has anyone seen the Netflix documentary My Octopus Teacher? I highly recommend it, they're incredible creatures and highly intelligent. 
Home in time for Asha's date with Claire - both getting. one odd extra ear piercing. We also went to see an Erwin Broner exhibition and to the opening of our friend's rock bar in the Port. A day with lots of elements...

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Amazing creation - both landscape and creatures. 
2) Finishing editing before the next shoots coming up.
3) Asha's strong brave streak - I love and admire that about her.
